Verdict
Ten rounds in you will know whether you are a poor putter or a poor lag putter, which are different problems with different price tags.
Why
Two lines per hole: feet, break, result, leave. Six boxes at the bottom tally made over tried by distance band, plus a box for three-putts, where they belong. Green Notes comes with it: six greens a page on a dot grid five yards apart, for the outline, the slopes, and every pin you have putted to.
Caveat
Pacing is fine, guessing is not. A pace is about three feet; if you did not pace it, write a range. Green Notes is a blank you fill from your own eyes, not a contour book.
Numbers
- 18 holes, two putts per hole, on one sheet
